State Police at Houghton Lake are investigating an early-morning motorcycle accident that took the life of a Lansing man Sept. 5. Timothy Haggart, 51, was eastbound on M-55 about 1/2 mile east of Old 27 when he struck a curb and lost control of his motorcycle at around 3:20 a.m. Haggart was taken to Mercy Hospital in Grayling where he died of his injuries.
