About our advertising services
The Resorter publishes weekly and is printed at the Resorter office, 4049 W.
Houghton Lake Dr., Houghton Lake, MI 48629. We use the SAU 6-column format.
Our discount schedule and rates are available upon request.
The Resorter also publishes four "Seasons" magazines with additional copies
distributed through area businesses. In the Spring we print over 14,000;
Summer 25,000; Fall 20,000 and winter 20,000. The Resorter also publishes
the Tip-up Town News each January with 12,000 circulation. We offer special
discounts for combination publications.
Our classified advertising section is one of the largest in Northern
Michigan. We offer several services to our advertisers and contract rates
for display advertising. The Resorter also carries a comprehensive business
directory each week with special rates for 13 week runs.
Subscriptions provide you with copies of the entire newspaper each week, 52
weeks a year for $25 in-county and e-edition and $30 for out-of-county.
Single copies are 75¢.
Classified advertising: 5 p.m. Monday for display advertising (with photos 5
pm. Friday) and noon Tuesdays for line ads.
Display advertising deadline is Friday 5 p.m. for the next Thursday's paper.
News items, (the earlier the better) and letters to the editor 5 p.m. Monday.
