Fine Arts Festival underway at RHS

The Gerrish-Higgins School District’s 2002 Fine Arts Festival began March 13 and will continue through March 18 with events in the Roscommon High School auditorium.
The March 13 performance by RHS advanced drama students, scheduled for 7 p.m., was to be a play, “On The Razzle.”
At 6:30 p.m. March 14, the Gerrish-Higgins Children’s Choir, Roscommon Middle School’s fifth and seventh grade bands and RHS Concert Choir are scheduled to perform.
On March 15, the RHS Wind Ensemble and RMS eighth grade band and choir are on the playbill, also at 6:30 p.m.
Performances for March 16 will be by the RHS Men’s and Women’s Ensembles, RMS Jazz Band and RHS second instrument class at 2 p.m. and a reprise of “On the Razzle” at 7 p.m.
March 17 will feature percussion ensembles, RHS Women’s Choir and Hand Bell Choir at 3 p.m.
On the last day of the festival, March 18, an “Empty Bowls Dinner” is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the RHS cafeteria, followed by a concert by the sixth grade choir and RHS Chamber Choir and Jazz Band at 6:30 p.m.
