Irene C. Garback

Irene C. Garback, 82, died April 7, 2002, at her Roscommon home.
A service is planned for April 11 at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Houghton Lake, to be officiated by Fr. Cass Garbacz and Fr. Greg McCallum. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. Visitation will be at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, Prudenville, from, 2 to 8 p.m. April 10, with a rosary at 6 p.m.
Born in Cleveland, OH, Aug. 13, 1919, she was the daughter of George and Alexandra (Parzychowski) Lisowski. She had lived in Sterling Heights and married John Garback April 14, 1951, in New Boston. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Garback attended St. James Catholic Church and was a member of St. James CCW and the choir.
Surviving besides her husband, John, are two sons, Tom and wife, Diane Garback of Cheboygan, and Tim and wife, Stacey Garback of Fenton; two daughters, Sandra Meyers of Quincy, MA, and Cynthia and husband, Greg Doyle of Rochester Hills; six grandchildren, Malonie, Kristen, Katie, Sean, Jannah and Jasmin; and three great-grandchildren, Kellee, Magen and Blayk.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Country Village retirement apartments.
