JoAnn A. Straub

Services for JoAnn A. Straub, 67, Milan, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 8 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. July 6 and 2 to 9 p.m. July 7 at the Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan. A rosary is scheduled there at 7:30 p.m. July 7 and closing prayers at 10:30 a.m. July 8. Burial will be in Marble Park Cemetery. Mrs. Straub died July 2, 2005.

She was born March 31, 1938, in Monroe to Wilson and Helen Lemerand. She married Arnold Straub in Milan Sept. 8, 1956. She owned and operated her own catering service for 27 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Surviving with Mr. Straub are nine children, Keith and his wife Jackie of Houghton Lake, Kevin and his wife Carol of New Hampshire, OH, Koreen Hobbs and Rob Prey of Houghton Lake, Kraig and his wife Carole of Ida, Kent of Houghton Lake, Kim and her husband Mark Bunton of Milan, Kirk and his wife Lisa of Milan, Kris and her husband Jeff Mason of Saline and Kelli Straub of Milan; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her father, Wilson Lemerand of Milan; two brothers, Richard Lemerand of Milan and Larry and his wife Cathy Lemerand of Temperance. Mrs. Straub was preceded in death by her mother in 1998.
