83RD DISTRICT COURT

Judge Daniel Sutton

Judge Daniel L. Sutton recently arraigned the following in 83rd District Court, Roscommon:

Matthew J. Losiewicz, 17, Houghton Lake, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to 34th Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty before Sutton, sitting by assignment as Circuit Court judge, to possession of methamphetamine/ ecstacy and possession of marijuana (amended from delivery/ manufacture). The Roscommon County Sheriff's Department made the April 18 arrest. Losiewicz will be sentenced in Circuit Court. Bond was set at $1,000.

Larry E. Mullins, 32, Prescott, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty before Sutton, sitting by assignment as Circuit Court judge, to two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny. Gerrish Township Police made the arrest; date of offense was June, 20, 2006. Mullins will be sentenced in Circuit Court. Bond was set at $50,000.

Mollie M. White, 18, Prudenville, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where she pleaded guilty before Sutton, sitting by assignment as Circuit Court judge, to larceny in a building. Denton Township Police made the March 25 arrest. White will be sentenced in Circuit Court. Bond was set at $5,000.

The following demanded preliminary examination within 14 days:

Christopher J. Banning, 21, Prudenville, larceny in a building. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest; date of offense was Oct. 23, 2006. Bond was set at $5,000.

Elton J. Beard, 21, Cadillac, larceny between $1,000 and $20,000, and breaking and entering. State Police, Houghton Lake, and the sheriff's department made the arrest; dates of offense were Jan. 12 and Feb. 7. Bond was set at $10,000.

Sean T. Chumney, 38, Prudenville, failure to pay child support. Friend of the Court charges him with the offense. Bond was set at $3,680.

Robert J. Emery Jr., 21, Roscommon, two counts of delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of morphine, second offense. The dates of offense were March 19 and 20; Strike Team Investigative Narcotics Group officers made the arrest. Bond was set at $50,000.

Levi J. Fritch, 21, North Branch, resisting and obstructing police and receiving and concealing a motor vehicle. Richfield Township Police made the May 9 arrest. Bond was set at $25,000.

Randy L. Harvey, 36, Prudenville, writing three nonsufficient funds checks within 10 days. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest; date of offense was June, 10, 2005. Bond was set at $500.

Chantel M. Hedges, 28, Prudenville, two counts of delivery/manufacture of oxycodone, one count of delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of methadone, and one count of delivery/manufacture of alprazolam. STING officers made the arrest; date of offense was April 4. Bond was set at $20,000.

Kristen M. Laur, 22, Roscommon, delivery/manufacture of less than 50 grams of morphine. STING officers made the Feb. 22 arrest. Bond was set at $10,000.

Amy L. Page, 30, Houghton Lake, larceny in a building. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the April 24 arrest. Bond was set at $5,000.

Clinton J. Reed, 40, Roscommon, first degree criminal sexual conduct and second degree CSC. The sheriff's department made the arrest; dates of offense were Jan. 1, 2005, Aug. 31, 2005, and March 26, 2007. Bond was set at $350,000.
