Financing seminar for businesses slated Aug. 22

Financing for business expansion or start-up are the subjects for a seminar Aug. 22 in Gladwin. The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center will be hosting a workshop on Financing for the Small Business from 6 to 8p.m. at its offices in the Michigan Works! building in Gladwin.

The workshop will help small business owners, and those thinking about starting a new business, understand the sources of financing, the types of loans, and how to analyze the application and the credit decision. Attendees will be able to meet with bankers and MI-SBTDC consultants to discuss their needs and learn how a lender analyzes their loan request.

The MI-SBTDC provides counseling, training, and market research for new business ventures, small businesses and expanding new businesses. For information or to register for the workshop, call Melody Wentworth at (989) 240-0059.
