All's fair

The Roscommon County Fair's Mud Bog attracted a large crowd to the Roscommon County Fire Training Grounds Saturday afternoon.

ROYALTY These ladies were crowned at the Roscommon County Fair Pageant Aug. 3. They are, left to right, Ashley Mathey, Roscommon (Teen), Michalla Dunaj, St. Helen (Princess), Jaclyn Ross, Roscommon (Miss) and Theresa Compton, Houghton Lake (Ms.). Class 2-Jason Schmidt, 1st, full pull, 8.52; Mike Jackson, 2nd, 187.3; Steve Martin, 3rd, 167.6; Paul Myer, 4th, 164.0.

Class 3-Mike Jackson, 1st, full pull, 9.31; Mike Raczynski, 2nd, full pull, 11.74; Tom Barror, 3rd, full pull, 12.24; Chris Lendvoy, 4th, 169.7.
