'Wolf Packs' net 153 traffic stops

Michigan State Police, Houghton Lake, Aug. 30 conducted three cooperative speed enforcement "Wolf Packs" on I- 75, in conjunction with troopers from the Gaylord Post, Roscommon County Sheriff's deputies and officers from Gerrish and Richfield Townships.

A total of 153 traffic stops were conducted for various violations resulting in 123 traffic citations being issued, four complaints being investigated and 43 verbal warnings being issued.

The first zone was on I-75 in Crawford County between M- 93 and Co. Rd. 612, involving both northbound and southbound traffic.

The second zone was on I-75 in Roscommon County at Federal Highway for both northbound and southbound traffic.

The third zone was on I-75 in Roscommon County at Old 76 for northbound traffic only.
