'Ask the DNR' tonight on WCMU

In central and northern Michigan, hunting, fishing and wildlife are always of interest and concern. CMU Public Television will help answer your questions on "Ask the DNR," tonight (Thursday) at 8 p.m.

Viewers can call (800) 727-9268 during the live show, and the panel of guests will provide answers and insight.

Bob Garner will be guest hosting the program. Guest specialists Joe Molnar, State Conservation Officer, DNR Law Enforcement Division and Tim Reis, Wildlife Management Unit Supervisor, Michigan DNR, will be on hand to answer questions.

"This year has brought important developments for Michigan's lovers of the outdoors, including the VHS virus and a proposed treaty agreement," says Ask The Specialists series producer Brian Baker. "What's special about our show is the fact that viewers' questions about these and most other outdoors issues are answered live by people from the DNR who give accurate information and are themselves passionate about the outdoors."

The "Ask the Specialists" series airs Thursday evenings at 8 p.m. on CMU Public Television. For information, visit www.wcmu.org.
