The Houghton Lake Sportsman's Club pistol league will begin today (Thursday) with a procedure and safety meeting at 1 p.m. followed by shooting for scoring. The evening session will begin at 6 p.m. with a safety briefing followed by shooting for score.

All other evening sessions will begin at the regular time of 5 p.m. unless the group at the safety meeting decides on a later time. All women are invited to shoot in this 10-week league.

There will be a separate ladies day every week this winter but a day and time has not been determined.
