Center offers grandparents' program
The Grayling Senior Center is hosting a 16-week program for people who are raising their grandchildren.
The program began Jan. 7 and will run every Monday until April 21. Participants may attend any session, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The program is designed to inform and support grandparents who have questions about their unique roles as primary caregivers. Topics include legal and custody issues, disciplinary and parenting skills, communication, and health care concerns.
The program is free; child care is available. For information or to enroll, call the Crawford County Commission on Aging at (989) 348-7123.
