Judge Michael Baumgartner heard these cases in 34th Circuit Court, Roscommon, Feb. 8:

William P. Welsh Sr., 62, Houghton Lake, did not appear in court for sentencing on a charge of indecent exposure and for charges of assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and gross indecency between males. A bench warrant was held until Feb. 14 at 1 p.m.

David W. Schroeder, 59, Roscommon, pleaded innocent to two counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct and a pretrial was set.

Judy L. Boman, 53, Gladwin, was sentenced to six months in jail (credit for two days) with two months to be served immediately and four held in abeyance, $1,000 in fines and costs, a $400 cost of prosecution fee and $120 in other court assessments. She will receive 15 days credit for paying her assessments. Boman had pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of liquor/unlawful blood alcohol level/ impaired driving, third offense.

Amanda J. Brown, 20, St. Helen, pleaded guilty to probation violation and was sentenced to extended probation (to Feb. 28, 2009).
