EARLY MORNING WALKS
With Millicent
      Mildred Jordan faithfully authored her weekly column for 40 years for the Resorter, making her longevity with the Resorter a record for writers so far. Mildred died Monday, July 14, at King Nursing Centre at the age of 90. In those 40 years she wrote thousands of columns weekly, in later months she requested to "recycle" some of her better columns over the years.

THE GREEN BLACKBOARD
      I have not written a column lately but I am back. I've been to three different trainings in June (3-4 days each) and, of course, my family came up to Houghton Lake for their annual reunion.
