83RD DISTRICT COURT

Judge Daniel Sutton

Judge Daniel L. Sutton recently arraigned the following in 83rd District Court, Roscommon:

Ronald R. Crowe, 29, Roscommon, waived preliminary examination on a charge of failure to comply with the sex offense registry act and was bound over to 34th Circuit Court. The Roscommon County Sheriff's Department made the June 23 arrest. Bond was set at $50,000.

Kurt R. Mason, 23, Prudenville, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of bribing/intimidating/ interfering with a witness. The sheriff's department made the March 8 arrest. Bond was set at $10,000.

Dennis J. Marks, 48, Roanoke, VA, waived preliminary examination on a charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct and was bound over to Circuit Court. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest. The date of offense was Feb. 1, 2005, through April 27, 2006. Bond was set at $1 million.

Angela J. Marinoff, 19, Diamondale, waived preliminary examination and was bound over on a charge of filing a false report of a felony. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the July 4 arrest. Bond was set at $3,000.

Ted B. Dowland, 30, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of child endangerment, second offense. The sheriff's department made the July 19 arrest. Bond was set at $500.

Dustin M. Gamboa, 27, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of possession of less than 25 grams of methadone. The sheriff's department made the July 29 arrest. Bond was set at $2,500.

Dale D. Morris, 34, Prudenville, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of failure to comply with the sex registration act. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the July 9 arrest. Bond was set at $25,000.

Nathan B. Samel, 30, Prudenville, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of possession of marijuana, second offense. The sheriff's department made the July 24 arrest. Bond was set at $1,000.

Keith E. Senkowski, 38, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of bribing/intimidating/ interfering with a witness. The sheriff's department made the July 30 arrest. Bond was set at $50,000.

Timothy S. Wolfgram, 48, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense. The sheriff's department made the July 25 arrest. Bond was set at $10,000.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sentenced:

George O. Pratt, 69, St. Helen, impaired driving: Eight days in jail with credit for one day, $960 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Scott J. Hyvonen, 41, Highland, impaired driving: Seven days in jail with credit for one day, $1,410 in fines, costs or restitution, 12 months probation, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Teresa L. Moody, 37, Rose City, impaired driving: $860 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Bruce M. Spencer, 22, Roscommon, transporting open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and impaired driving: 15 days in jail (with credit for 15 days) on the first count and 60 days in jail (with credit for 60 days) on the second count, 12 months probation, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Leslie J. DeClerk, 35, Houghton Lake, disorderly person by intoxication: 20 days in jail with credit for six days.

Thomas D. Schmidt, 46, Roscommon, domestic violence: 35 days in jail with credit for 35 days, $670 in fines, costs or restitution, and 12 months probation.

John J. Boughner, 31, Roscommon, larceny less than $200: 30 days in jail, $785 in fines, costs or restitution, and six months probation. The defendant must pay $410 or serve an additional 40 days in jail.

Devin E. Storey, 17, Prudenville, third degree retail fraud and minor in possession of alcohol: $560 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State. The defendant must pay $365 or serve 30 days in jail.

Jessie L. Appleton, 27, Prudenville, possession of marijuana: $550 in fines, costs or restitution, and 30 days license suspension.

Kelly M. Stevens, 43, Midland, assault and battery: 60 days in jail with credit for 60 days.

Jennifer L. Lupa, 24, Livonia, consuming or possessing open alcohol on the highway: $150.

Danielle L. Cole, 23, Hermitage, consuming or possessing open alcohol on the highway: $150.

Carli J. Reed, 21, Mayville, possession of marijuana: $95 in fines, costs or restitution, 12 months probation, and 30 days license suspension.
