83RD DISTRICT COURT

Judge Daniel Sutton

Judge Daniel L. Sutton recently arraigned the following in 83rd District Court:

George L. Richardson, 44, Higgins Lake, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court, where he pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, third offense. The Roscommon County Sheriff's Department made the July 8 arrest. Bond was set at $50,000. Richardson will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Telly J. Townsend, 26, Mt. Morris, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court, where he pleaded guilty to resisting and obstructing a police officer. The sheriff's department made the July 5 arrest. Bond was set at $2,000. Townsend will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Jessica S.A. Vannatter, 23, Roscommon, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court, where she pleaded guilty to possession of less than 25 grams of morphine. The sheriff's department made the arrest. The date of offense was Jan. 19. Bond was set at $100. Vannatter will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Douglas W. Woodward, 59, Prudenville, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court, where he pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated, third offense. The sheriff's department made the July 5 arrest. Bond was set at $5,000. Woodward will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Jonathon P. Silvers, 25, Houghton Lake, waived preliminary examination on a charge of fourth degree fleeing and eluding and was bound over to Circuit Court. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the July 31 arrest. Bond was set at $5,000.

Steven M. Snider, 30, Saginaw, waived preliminary examination on charges of home invasion first offense and possession of marijuana, second offense, and was bound over to Circuit Court. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the July 4 arrest. Bond was set at $50,000.

Ronald S. DeClerk, 36, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of interfering with electronic communications causing injury or death. The sheriff's department made the Aug. 11 arrest. Bond was set at $100,000.

Darris C.S. Dowland, 24, Roscommon, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of possession of marijuana, second offense. Gerrish Township Police made the June 27 arrest. Bond was set at $150.

William E. Egoff, 43, Lincoln Park, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense. Gerrish Township Police made the Aug. 1 arrest. Bond was set at $5,000.

Melissa S. Ferriss, 22, Clinton Township, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of resisting and obstructing police. The sheriff's department made the Aug. 2 arrest. Bond was set at $3,000.

Mark P. Getchell, 38, Redford, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense. The sheriff's department made the arrest. The date of offense was Feb. 22 2005. Bond was set at $100,000.

Elena M. Hose, 22, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of possession of less than 25 grams of codeine. The sheriff's department made the Aug. 1 arrest. Bond was set at $2,500.

David W. Lewandowsky, 26, Leslie, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of third degree criminal sexual conduct. Denton Township Police made the Aug. 2 arrest. Bond was set at $10,000.

Michael Locke, 45, Richmond, OH, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of failure to pay child support. The Attorney General filed the June 1 charge. Bond was set at $10,725.

Joshua S. Strickland, 28, East Jordan, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of possession of marijuana, second offense. The sheriff's department made the June 2 arrest. Bond was set at $200.

James L. Wilson, 34, Prudenville, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of second degree home invasion. Denton Township Police made the July 25 arrest. Bond was set at $3,000.

The following pleaded guilty to consuming or possessing alcohol on the highway and were ordered to pay $150 in fines, costs or restitution:

Dingman, 21, Flint; Robert L. Freeze, 34, Lewiston; Adam S. Gainforth, 23, Unionville; Erik D. Gier, 22, Osseo; Jefferey L. Houghton, 25, Eaton Rapids; Alison C. Jex, 22, Lansing; Tyrell A. Kennedy, 25, Eaton Rapids; Richard A. Knight, 23, Midland; Craig D. Neeb, 27, Grand Rapids; Scott M. Perkins, 31, Lansing; Nathan M. Rings, 27, Pontiac; Lauren J. Ritter, 21, Mason; Gilbert R. Rogers, 31, White Lake; Ashley A. Slusser, 21, Midland; Donald J. Swanson Jr., 21, Brownstown; Aaron C. Wichman, 22, Midland; and Andrea N. Wissinger, 28, Flint.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sentenced:

Amanda S. Roth, 22, Millington, disorderly person by intoxication: $250 in fines, costs or restitution.

Mitchell B. Wasney, 22, Reese, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle- passenger: $150 in fines, costs or restitution, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Stephen J. Lindsey, 21, Ann Arbor, disorderly or obscene conduct: $350 in fines, costs or restitution.

Ivan J. Willett, 63, Roscommon, driving with a suspended license, first offense: $400 in fines, costs or restitution, and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.
