Meierant takes helms at Mercy Home Care and Mercy Hospice
      Mercy Home Care and Mercy Hospice recently welcomed a new executive director to its ranks. Donald L. Meierant took over for Jan Bersted about two months ago, and looks forward to being a part of a faith-based health care system that focuses on patientcentered care.

     Ninety-six members of the Organ Transplant Group of Northern Michigan attended the annual Hawaiian lawn party at the home of Bev and Dick Cherwinski, Vanderbilt, Aug. 9.      Mercy Home Care and Mercy Hospice have a new executive director. Recently, Don L. Meierant (right) took over from Jan Bersted, who had led the organization for more than 25 years.
