RHS seniors to graduate next week High school graduation season in Roscommon County will begin early this year, as Roscommon High School holds its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. May 22. More than 100 members of the Class of 2008 are expected to receive diplomas during the ceremony in the school gymnasium. The Thursday evening graduation marks a return to a tradition that was in place for many years until RHS moved its ceremony to Sunday afternoon in 1992. RHS graduates and the public have been invited to attend a baccalaureate program at 7:30 p.m. May 20 in the school auditorium. Commencement ceremonies at Houghton Lake High School are scheduled for June 1. |
