Marcia Kay 'Bidge' Miller

Marcia Kay 'Bidge' Miller, 61, Roscommon, died suddenly July 30, 2008, at Mercy Hospital, Grayling.

A service was held at Walsh Funeral Home, Roscommon, Aug. 5, with Pastor Lawrence Cook officiating. Burial was in Roscommon Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Friends Helping Friends.

Mrs. Miller was born in Gladwin Feb. 6, 1947. Her parents were Horace Edwin and Katherine J. (Curtis) Rodden. She lived her entire life in Roscommon and married Larry E. Miller there Jan. 7, 1967.

She was formerly employed by Nagle Industries and ITT Hancock. She provided child care in her home for 20 years and was a teacher's aid in the COOR Intermediate School District. She was a long-time member of the Michigan Firemen's Memorial Festival Committee, a former member of the Roscommon County Fair committee and was involved in league bowling at Fred's. She enjoyed caring for her family, especially her grandchildren, walking, the outdoors, camping and swimming.

Preceding her in death were her brother-in-law, Bob Miller, and sister-in-law, Margaret Eckerbaucher.

Surviving are her husband, Larry; three children, Curt Miller, Michael and his wife Carrieann Miller, and Leanne Glueheisen, all of Roscommon; two grandchildren, Riley and Tanner Glueheisen; brother, Gary Rodden of Roscommon; special family member, Margaret Quinlan of Traverse City; sister-in-law, Jeanette and her husband Richard Raymond of Lennon; two brothers-in-law, John and his wife Valerie Miller of Frederic and Tom and his wife Bonnie Miller of Grayling; and numerous nieces and nephews.
