Norita E. Miller

Norita E. Miller, 73, died Aug. 13, 2008, at her home in Prudenville.

She was born May 18, 1935, to Floyd and Virginia (Dean) Remnant in Hillsdale. She married Mitchell J. Miller Nov. 20, 1953, in Dearborn. They moved to Prudenville from Lincoln Park 15 years ago. Mrs. Miller was a member of Houghton Lake Eagles Aerie 3201 Auxiliary and the Houghton Lake Women of the Moose.

Surviving with Mr. Miller are two daughters, Luann and her husband Martin Pilarski of Dearborn Heights and Nanette and her husband William Powers of Carlton; three sons, Mitchell Patrick Miller of St. Helen, William Frederick and his wife Joan Miller of Allen Park and David and his wife Donna Miller of Riverview; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Sloat of Dallas, TX; and a special friend and caregiver, Deborah Brown. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patsy.

Cremation will take place. Hall-Kotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, handled arrangements.
