Appetizers, blues to kick off Crawford United Way effort

Crawford County United Way will host business after hours in conjunction with the Grayling Chamber of Commerce Sept. 23 at the Canadian Steak and Fish Restaurant.

The event is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. and will feature the blues band "Catch and Release."

Admission at the door is $5 and includes entertainment and appetizers. There will be a 50/50 drawing and raffle tickets available.

The event will be the kickoff for the 2009 business "Live United" campaign.
