Paul Edward Hutko

Paul Edward Hutko, 40, Deerfield Beach, FL, died Sept. 10, 2008.

Private family services will be conducted. Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel, handled arrangements. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Houghton Lake Historical Society.

Mr. Hutko was born in Detroit June 24, 1968. He had served in the U.S. Navy until 1995 and settled in the Deerfield Beach area, where he was an entertainer at local nightclubs. He had also written several award-winning play scripts and was involved in writing manuscripts for publication.

Surviving are his parents, David and Alleene Hutko of Houghton Lake; paternal grandparents, Edward and Yvette Hutko of Sterling Heights; five step-brothers, Greg and his wife Cindy McNeill of Fenton, Dan and his wife Annette McNeill of Lake Orion, Bill and his wife Janice McNeill of Houghton Lake, Mike and his wife Gina McNeill of Springhill, FL, and Kevin and his wife Karen McNeill of Mt. Clemens; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
