LAST ICE LUCK
"Ed," who told the Resorter he is a retired bait dealer from Vicksburg, had a decent day of ice fishing on Houghton Lake March 26. Using an ultra-sensitive five-foot-long rod tipped with a small ice fly, he had caught a dozen or so nice sized bluegills by 2 p.m. Ice conditions in Roscommon County have become too dangerous for fishing over the past week, but Ed said he would be following the ice north to the Upper Peninsula.
