REPORTING TO LEGION
Roscommon High School students (left to right) Jamie Gugin, Ashley Dennis and Ryan Tworek, recently reported to American Legion Post 96, Roscommon, on their experiences at three summer programs for which the post provided scholarships. Tworek attended Trooper School, a five-day session at the Michigan State Police Training Academy. Gugin and Dennis went to Girls State, a hands-on program about state government, at Michigan State University. The students are pictured with, left to right, Robert DeClaire of the Roscommon Rotary Club, which co-sponsored with the Legion; Post 96 Commander George Kozlowski; and Jane Pinkelman, president of the Post 96 Auxiliary, which sponsored Girls State.
