Patricia M. Ranville, 85, Clare, formerly of Prudenville, died Dec. 15, 2009, at Prestige Place, Clare.

 

A service will be held at St. John Vianney Church, Flint, Friday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. Visitation will be at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home, Flint, Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.

 

Mrs. Ranville was born in Minneapolis, MN, Feb. 27, 1924, the daughter of Clarence and Rosemary (Weihl) Hanifan. Before moving to Clare, she had lived in Prudenville and was previously of Flint.

 

She and DeVere Ranville were married July 19, 1945, in Flint. Her husband preceded her in death Dec. 11, 2004. She was a homemaker.

She graduated from St. Michael High School, Flint, in 1941, and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Catholic Church.

 

Surviving Mrs. Ranville are her children, Susan (Cecil) Faust of California, and Joseph Ranville; and nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
