Grayling Senior Center offers tax help

The Crawford County Commission on Aging, in conjunction with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, will sponsor free personal income tax assistance for low and moderate income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 and older.

Volunteers are trained to assist in filing tax forms and basic schedules, including the 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ. Volunteers will also be available to assist in filing the Michigan Homestead Tax Credit and the Michigan Home Heating Credit.

Appointments will be available at the Grayling Senior Center, 308 Lawndale St., Grayling. An appointment is required and may be made by calling (989) 348-7123.
