Graduation tonight at RHS

Roscommon High School will conduct its 115th graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. today (Thursday) in the school gymnasium. Approximately 87 graduates will receive diplomas.

The RHS Band, directed by Seth Kilbourn, will play the processional, “Pomp and Circumstance.” Salutatorian Jenna Kozumplik and Valedictorian Casmera Gendernalik will deliver addresses.

Musical interludes will be “Rock Classics of the ’70’s,” performed by the RHS Band, and “We Are One,” performed by the RHS Chamber Choir, directed by Emerick F. Dee.

Principal Catherine Erickson will present the graduates to Roscommon Area Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Millie Mellgren, who in turn will present them to the RAPS Board of Education. Jim Scott, board president, will present graduates with their diplomas.

Graduates will file out of the gymnasium as the RHS Band plays “Recessional.”
