WARBLER ARTISTS


The art work of these Houghton Lake Middle School fifth graders was recently published in the 2010-2011 Kirtland’s Warbler Wildlife Festival Calendar. Pictured (left to right) are Hunter Tyrrell, Honorable Mention, Kaitlyn Girardin, Honorable Mention, Stephanie Eckstorm, whose drawing of a fox is the picture for January 2011, Jacob Halliday, whose drawing of a woodpecker is the picture for April 2011 and Megan Hadley, Honorable Mention. The students completed their winning drawings when they were in the fourth grade.
