Judy Gail Cannell, 63, former Houghton Lake resident, died May 30, 2010, in Fort Collins, CO, after a long battle with lymphoma.

 

Cremation has taken place and her ashes were scattered on a mountain in Colorado. No service was held.

 

Born Dec. 24, 1946, in Virginia, MN, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Frank and Lorriane Thompson. She lived for many years at Houghton Lake on Old Trail Drive.

 

Surviving are her son, Greg Cannell, daughter-in-law, Stacie Cannell, two grandsons, Canyon and Sawyer, all of Bend, OR, Jeff Cannell of Houghton Lake; and brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Cindy Thompson of Phoenix, AZ.
