BACK STREET CRASH
Firefighters from Roscommon Township look over the aftermath of a traffic accident that occurred at around 11:50 a.m. on Jan. 3 at the intersection of Collingwood Boulevard and Beech Street. According to a State Police report, Arthur Randall, 74, of Houghton Lake was eastbound on Beech when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by James Phillips, 68, of Houghton Lake, which was northbound on Collingwood. Both men were taken to Mercy Hospital in Grayling by Houghton Lake Ambulance. Randall was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign. (Photo by Thomas Reznich)
