Social Security does not add to federal deficit

Alright, I can stay silent no longer. Our federal representatives are having a field day misrepresenting the facts and we Americans are supposed to lay down and take it. John Behnner “Read My Lips” -- Social Security is self funded and does not add to the federal deficit! The only problem for the federal budget is that you or your predecessors “borrowed” the money from the Social Security Trust Fund to pay for past extravagances and now you have to pay it back so get off the idea that Social Security is the problem with the budget. The problem with the federal budget is the fact that you and all your rich cronies refuse to pay your fair share of the cost of government. Trickle down economics does not work and the rich are not going to create more jobs or pay higher wages if we let them keep their money. The only thing that will happen is that they will get richer and we will get poorer and the sooner the citizens of this country understand that the sooner our national debt will be paid. We all need to suffer, including the top 1% in order for the debt to be paid, not just the poor.
