Pinewood Derby champions work through four divisions

(Courtesy photo) Cub Scouts of Pack 3981 held their Pinewood Derby Satureday and Webelo Kevin Reed won the Webelo’s Division and the overall championship. Wolf member Joe Travelbee took second in the championship race and Jack Salyers, who was third in the Wolf division, was third in the championship.

Racing at the Elks Club began with a weigh-in at 11 a.m. followed by heat racing at noon. There were four divisions vying for championship berths.

In the Bear Division Matt Bennett was first, Jack Salyers second and Griffin Broge third. Isaiah Broge won the Tiger’s Division with John Trolz second and Ralph White third. Reed was first in the Webelo’s Division while Dakota Thornton and Jacob Campeau were second and third respectively.

(Courtesy photo) Joe Travelbee went to the championships after winning the Wolf Divsion followed by Skyler Jock and Dylan Nichols.

In the adult division Harli Broge was first followed by Russ Bennett and Amy Campeau. Walmart won the Sponsorship Division followed by the Floor Store and Big Boy.
