In coordination with the spring Household Hazardous Waste collection, the Roscommon County Solid Waste Recycling Committee will hold an expanded used tire collection.

In the past, residents were allowed to bring in two vehicle tires at no cost. This year, due to being awarded a Department of Natural Resources grant, that will be increased to six tires per household.

Old used tires left on one’s property can become a fire hazard or breeding ground for mosquitoes.
