Personalized Trestle Park bricks offered

Denton Township will soon be selling personalized bricks for the developing Trestle Park in Prudenville.

Board members agreed Sept. 19 at a special meeting to offer 12 by 12-inch bricks that can be etched with the name of a family or business and can be engraved with a personalized message, such as “In Memory of…”.

The bricks may be purchased for about $25. Board members emphasized that the sale of the bricks would not be a fundraiser, but an opportunity for residents to be a part of the park.

The bricks will be incorporated into a railroad pattern installed at the entrance of the park. Construction of the park is expected to begin next spring.

Call the township office at 366-5913 for information.
