Budding photographers document Enrichment Days

Enrichment Days 2012 at Houghton Lake Middle School, held Feb. 16 and 17, gave students the opportunity to broaden their horizons with a wide range of special classes and activities, and as part of their experience, members of the photography class used their new skills to document some of them.

On the first day of the class, after a short course on the basics of photography taught by Resorter photographer Thomas Reznich, the students hit the hallways to document some of the special activities their classmates were engaged in. On the second day, the class met at the Houghton Lake Resorter, where they took a tour of the newspaper and found out how digital photographs are edited and put onto the newspaper pages.

Here are some of the class’s best shots of Enrichment Days.
