FROM THIRD TO FIRST
Ron Kuripla of Houghton Lake placed first in the 4th Annual Marion Snowfest HR Stock Single snowmobile race on Feb. 18. Last year, Kuripla placed third in the 440 open class race. He said he beat 30 other racers in this year’s 10 lap race that was held on a half-mile ice track. He said he rode a GP292B Yamaha. (Photo by Krista Tacey-Cater)
