Bobcats drop another JPC game at Gladwin

The Houghton Lake varsity girls basketball team traveled to Gladwin Feb. 17, and came home with a 49-39 Jack Pine Conference loss at the hands of the G’s.

“Tonight we struggled offensively,” said Houghton Lake Coach Angie Dalak, “There was no flow and we couldn’t get anything going. It was frustrating, not the way we wanted to go into next week.”

The Bobcats started out by taking the first quarter 10-6, but by halftime, the G’s had a 24-17 lead. The Bobcats battled to a 28-27 lead in the third quarter, but a big 21-11 run by Gladwin in the fourth sealed the deal.
