TWO NEW ROTARIANS

Denton Township Chief of Police Dallas McGeary and Paul Berg of the Berg-Martin Insurance Agency were recently inducted as members of the Rotary Club of Houghton Lake. The Rotary Club of Houghton Lake has been active since 1986 when Paul’s father Charlie was a founding member. Since 1999, the club has sponsored a “Community Service Silent Auction” to raise funds in support of local organizations and Rotary community projects. The 2012 auction will take place April 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Prudenville and will have a “sports” theme. The Rotary Club of Houghton Lake meets Mondays at noon at Buccilli’s Pizza, Houghton Lake. More information can be found at www.hlrotary.org.
