CELEBRATING THE END OF THE ACT


For four weeks Houghton Lake High School juniors have been preparing for the American College Testing exam before the actual test. Academic Interventionist Eddie Johns said the students had been preparing in the areas of math, science, English and reading. He added all the students took the test on March 6 and in celebration of the end of the test they received a pizza and pop party. “The class did a good job of being focused on the test,” Johns said. He added he was impressed by their dedication to test preparation.
