Mercy Hospice of Grayling seeking seamstresses

Mercy Hospice of Grayling is looking for both novice and expert seamstresses to help with the Burden Bear and Quilting programs.

The projects ask seamstresses to create personalized Burden Bears and lap quilts from material supplied by families who have had loved ones pass away.

The stuffed bears and lap quilts are then given to the bereaved families free of charge.

To be part of the sewing group, contact Hill Tremonti at 348-4383 or by email at tremonjm@trinityhealth.org.
