82nd District Court

Judge Daniel L. Sutton recently arraigned the following in 82nd District Court:

Robert L. Bailey III, 31, Grayling, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, second offense. The Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. The date of offense was June 6. Bond was set at $1,000. Bailey will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Travis M. Goodrich, 31, Rosebush, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to larceny between $1,000 and $20,000. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest. The date of offense was April 2 through 6. Bond was set at $2,500. Goodrich will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Brooke R. Heit, 32, Flint, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where she pleaded guilty to impaired driving, third offense. Denton Township Police made the arrest. The date of offense was May 9. Bond was set at $10,000. Heit will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Nicholas T. Mainville, 19, Prudenville, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to fourth degree fleeing and eluding police. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was May 21. Bond was set at $500. Mainville will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Brandi L. Wilson, 29, Dearborn Heights, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where she pleaded guilty to resisting and obstructing police. A charge of tampering with evidence was dismissed. Denton Township Police made the arrest. The date of offense was June 4. Bond was set at $10,000. Wilson will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

William A. Jenkins, 46, Houghton Lake, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of perjury in court proceedings. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was July 27, 2009. Bond was set at $100,000.

Timothy E. Beck, 58, West Branch, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third offense. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was March 3. Bond was set at $5,000.

Daniel K. Honaman, 45, Houghton Lake, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on charges of assault of a prison employee and resisting and obstructing police. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was June 8. Bond was set at $100,000.

Robert P. Lucus, 44, Houghton Lake, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where he pleaded guilty to second degree home invasion and possession of a firearm by a felon. Dismissed were two counts of breaking and entering. State Police, Houghton Lake, made the arrest. The date of offense was May 1. Bond was set at $10,000. Lucus will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Windy S. Caswell, 37, Flint, waived preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court where she pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of a controlled substance. The Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office made the arrest. The date of offense was Jan. 8. Bond was set at $10,000. Caswell will be sentenced in Circuit Court.

Rebecca S. Lossing, 39, Pontiac, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of larceny in a building. Richfield Township Police made the arrest. The date of offense was May 26. Bond was set at $300.

Paul J. Dahlin, 54, Roscommon, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of felonious assault. Gerrish Township Police made the arrest. The date of offense was June 4. Bond was set at $3,000.

Carl A. Romereo, 20, Allen Park, demanded preliminary examination within 14 days on a charge of breaking and entering. The sheriff’s office made the arrest. The date of offense was June 17. Bond was set at $14,000.

The following pleaded guilty to charges filed against them and were sentenced:

Kathleen A. Mathison, 31, Houghton Lake, impaired driving: $835 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Darryl F. Brohammer, 47, Madison Heights, driving with a suspended license, first offense: $440 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Steven B. Kann Jr., 29, Roscommon, possession of marijuana: $435 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and 30 days license suspension.

Scott P. Battle, 27, Weidman, possession of marijuana: $435 in fines, costs or restitution, six months probation and 30 days license suspension.

Paul W. Maleski, 27, Rose City, possession of marijuana: $535 in fines, costs or restitution and 60 days license suspension.

Timothy S. Gilreath, 32, West Branch, assault and battery: 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days.

Rebecca K. Machtel, 47, Roscommon, malicious destruction of property between $200 and $1,000: $1,957.07 in fines, costs or restitution.

Shawna C. Hebert, 27, Roscommon, impaired driving: $935 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

Jessica B. MacKillop, 34, St. Helen, impaired driving: $835 in fines, costs or restitution and the conviction was reported to the Secretary of State.

David L. Niklas, 28, Sterling Heights, possession of marijuana: $410 in fines, costs or restitution and 30 days license suspension.

Kristina N. Adkins, 25, St. Helen, use of marijuana: 30 days in jail (credit for 30 days) and 30 days license suspension.

Victor V. Goulette, 36, Roscommon, domestic violence: 60 days in jail.

Justin L. Heavner, 23, Westland, possession of fireworks: $255 in fines, costs or restitution.

Rodger L. Bailey, 30, Prudenville, malicious use of telecommunications: 30 days in jail.

Michael J.A. Shearer, 24, Prudenville, third degree retail fraud: $618.42 in fines, costs or restitution and six months probation.
