TUT Medallion found!

Charles Cabay of Houghton Lake found the 2013 Tip-up Town medallion today at about 4:20 p.m. He found it on the property of the Lake Township Hall.

The medallion, now that he has turned it into the Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce, is worth $300. Cabay said his mom helped him with the clue about square dancing - people used to square dance on the corner of Nellsville and Michelson Roads. The last clue included the word "red," and the medallion was hanging from a small pine tree near some red pipes.

"I walked by it three times," Cabay said. "There were other tracks there. Whoever was walking in the woods will be bummin'."
