Ralph A. Villeneuve

Houghton Lake resident Ralph A. Villeneuve, 86, died Jan. 22, 2013, at his home with his family by his side.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Advantage. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel, is handling the arrangements. 

He was born on Sept. 5, 1926, in Detroit to Rudolf and Margueritte (Davis) Villeneuve. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an industrial engineer for General Dynamics and later retired and moved to Houghton Lake in 1991 from Sterling Heights. 

He and Angeline “Angie” (Miramonti) Feehan were united in marriage Dec. 21, 1991, in Sterling Heights. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing tennis and reading.

Preceding him in death were his parents. 

Surviving are his wife, Angie Villeneuve of Houghton Lake; daughter; Trisha Stock of Northville; step-daughter, Lynn (Mark) Leonhard of Rochester Hills; step-daughter, Karen (David) Schulman of Huntington Woods; grandchildren, Nicholas, Dillon, Aiden, Adam, Graeme, Beth, Ben and Cate; and sister, Patricia Starks of Livonia.
