Linda Eileen Harvey

Linda Eileen Harvey, 62, of Hough­ton Lake, died Feb. 13, 2017, at home with her family by her side.

A memorial service for Mrs. Harvey will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at Houghton Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Milam officiating. Visi­tation is planned at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

She was born Feb. 22, 1954, in West Branch, to Robert and Carole (Foster) Towner. She grew up in the Prudenville area and graduated from Houghton Lake High School. She was married for over 30 years to Russell Kasik, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harvey was a homemaker and mother of two children. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross-stitch, mu­sic and loved her doggies. She attended Houghton Lake Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Harvey are her daughter, Sheryl (Louie Acevedo) Kasik of Oklahoma; son, Robert Kasik of Flor­ida; two grandchildren, Brett and Teslyn; sister, Diane Phovemire of Prudenville; one niece; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Towner; and husband, Russell Leroy Kasik Jr.

Memorial contributions can be di­rected to the family or the American Lung Association. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel, handled the arrangements.
