Keith W. Rosenau

Houghton Lake resident Keith W. Rosenau, 73, formerly of Homer, died March 7, 2017, at MidMichigan Medi­cal Center in Midland,with his family by his side.

In accordance with his wishes, cre­mation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Christler Fu­neral Home, Prudenville Chapel, han­dled arrangements.

He was born Oct. 14, 1943, in Al­bion, the son of William J. “Bud” and Esther (Rausch) Rosenau, both of Hom­er. He was a graduate of Homer High School, Class of 1961.

In 1969, he founded and was presi­dent of Steel Products, Inc., in Homer. After selling his business in 1986, he retired and moved to Houghton Lake in 1989. He and his wife, Janice, owned Olde Tymes Antiques and Country Store in Homer and traveled the country look­ing for the next great buy.

Preceding him in death were his par­ents.

Surviving Mr. Rosenau are his wife, Janice (Holden) Rosenau of Houghton Lake; daughter, Kristin (Michael E.) Nevins of Houghton Lake; grandson, Logan R. Nevins of Memphis, TN; and brother, Kent Rosenau of Cadillac.
