Samuel David ‘Tex’ Vaughn

Samuel David “Tex” Vaughn, 35, Prudenville, died March 4, 2017, at home.

Cremation has taken place. A Cel­ebration of Life service will be held Sat­urday, March 25, at the Houghton Lake Moose Lodge from 2 to 4 p.m.

He was born Oct. 8, 1981, in Borg­er, TX, the son of David and Debbie Vaughn. He graduated from Champs Academy, Indiana, in May, 2000, and worked as a mason, a job he truly en­joyed.

He enjoyed being around people and he loved his family. He was a simple man and a “momma’s boy” who will be missed by those who knew him.

Surviving Mr. Vaughn are his par­ents; son, Samuel of Prudenville; sister, Mandy of Holt; two uncles; one aunt; several cousins; dog, Frank; and good friend, Kristi.
