Marilyn Jean

Higgins Lake resident Marilyn Jean, 58, died unexpectedly April 13, 2017, in Grayling. 

Visitation will be held at Resurrection Life Fellowship, Grayling, Tuesday, April 18, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Higgins Lake. Arrangements were handled by Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home. 

She was born May 24, 1958, in Dearborn, to the late Andrew and Doris (Burton) Bundas. She married Joseph Raymond Jean Jr. Aug. 3, 1974, in Allen Park. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She passionately loved the Lord. A prayer warrior and a willing servant, she was full of compassion and thoughtful of others. She enjoyed helping others find their identity in Christ. She was a member of Resurrection Life Fellowship and was deeply loved by its members. 

Preceding her in death were her parents, Andrew and Doris Bundas; and sister, Patty Daley. 

Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Joe; children, Christopher Joseph Jean, Amy Marie (Wade) Spalding and Andrea Elizabeth Shea; grandchildren, Andrew, Grace, Joseph, Luke, Jonathan and Abigail; siblings, Michael (Rita) Bundas, Donna (Chet) Przysiecki, Andrea (Tim) Veldstra, Andrew (Marilyn) Bundas, Sally (Gary) Muscat, Edward (Jean) Bundas and John (Lori) Bundas; brother-in-law, Richard Daley; mother and father-in-law, Joe and Pat Jean; sister-in-law, Esther (Bruce) Bay; brother-in-law, Martin Jean; and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
