Victoria Ann ‘Missy’ Speer

Richfield Township Deputy Treasur­er Victoria Ann “Missy” Speer, 60, died April 12, 2017, in Vassar.

A service was held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home, St. Helen, April 15. Pastor Rodney Morrison offi­ciated. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

She was born May 3, 1956, in Pon­tiac, the daughter of Monte and Patricia (Gilbert) Smith. She had lived in St. Helen for the past 42 years.

She had been a deputy treasurer for Richfield Township for 10 years. She also worked at Hen House Restaurant in St. Helen for 27 years and Chase Bank for seven years. She enjoyed reading, bowling, doing puzzles, making desserts and baking.

Preceding her in death were her fa­ther, Monte; and brother, Doug Smith.

Surviving are her children, Gregory (Heather) Powers of Dewitt, Darren (Kimberly) Speer of Brighton and Marie (Mark) Childs of Vassar; grandchildren, Justin (Cassie), Tyler (Crystal), Brandon, Hunter, Nate, Zachary, Madison, Bail­ley, Spencer and Dylon; great-grandchil­dren, Dusty, Lauryn, Aubrey, Mason and Tanner; mother, Patricia Smith; brothers, Butch (Chris) Smith, Rusty (Sue) Smith, Jeff (Michelle) Smith and Scott (Sara) Smith; and many nieces, nephews, cous­ins and friends.
