The RMS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) students traveled to three different vernal pools on three different occasions throughout the year.

During their final visit in May, students collected data at each pool and documented the critters living there. RMS students have been involved with this project which is a joint effort between RMS teachers Mrs. Jean Evans, Mr. Doug Goulette and Michigan State University Extension Forester Julie Crick. Grants have been received to continue the work in collecting the vital vernal pool information.
