Volunteers install new directional signs in the St. Helen Motorsports Area in honor of the late Justin Flesher May 10. Pam Colby of St. Helen Powersports, who organized the tribute for Flesher, said the bulk of the funding for the project was raised during a charity ride in August 2016, and that Pam Peake from Action Traffic Maintenance made the signs, ProBuild Lumber of St. Helen donated over half of the sign posts and discounted the rest, and Richfield Township provided funds left by the late Tom Gallagher, a long time promoter of ORVs in St. Helen, to pay for the remainder of the posts. Flesher, of Montrose, was 32 when he died of injuries he sustained in an accident on the trails in July of 2016. Pictured during the installation of the signs are (left to right) Rob Preston, Glen Kelbey and Jon Weber. (Courtesy photo)
